George Michael
Michael, George (pravo ime Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou), britanski rock kantautor (London, 25. VI. 1963 – Goring-on-Thames, 25. XII. 2016). Popularnost stekao kao član pop dueta Wham! (1982–86), no već s prvim singlom, duetom s Arethom Franklin I Knew You Were Waiting For Me i albumom Faith (1987) postiže izuzetan uspjeh. Početkom 1990-ih nekoliko godina prekida diskografsku aktivnost zbog sudskog procesa s etiketom Sony. Zaključni album u 1990-ima Songs from the Last Century (1999) potvrđuje njegovo interpretatorsko umijeće, dok Patience (2004) antiglobalistički društveni angažman.
